Film

Film

Whether watching in a theater (in the front center seat, in the first row off the floor) or viewing on the streaming small screen or screening from my physical media collection, I’ll watch anything at least once. And I do mean anything.

Unfortunately, I can’t write about everything. To that end, I avoid writing straightforward reviews. My opinions will not change your mind and may only bolster your own, at best, and I want no part in either. And I certainly don’t want to trample on film. Film should be celebrated, given breath to be recognized, not to be destroyed.

So instead, I write about film.

If you enjoy discussing film over a piece of key lime pie (or whatever you prefer) and a cup of decaffeinated coffee (or whatever you prefer), thinking fully about a film; grappling with meaning; and going beyond plot, writing, character, execution, and more — you’ve come to the right place.

Your server will be with you momentarily, so enjoy your dessert.

And enjoy the discussion.

As we navigate the intricate tapestry of existence, we are constantly presented with choices, each a potential pathway to something extraordinary. This is a world where creativity knows no bounds, where the curious mind finds solace, and where the fearless heart discovers uncharted territories. It is a place where the pursuit of knowledge, the embrace of change, and the willingness to take risks are not mere options but essential ingredients for a life well-lived.

Welcome to a world of limitless possibilities, where the journey is as exhilarating as the destination, and where every moment is an opportunity to make your mark on the canvas of existence. The only limit is the extent of your imagination.
